As part of our on-going relationship with High West Distillery, Material Resourcers created a unique repurposed gift featuring their logo. The repurposed piece incorporates the High West "stamp" with reclaimed oak staves. There are about 20 oak staves with a barrel lid floating in front featuring the 4 Roses distillery stamp. The lid is encircled with a steel band and the High West insignia. Front and center is the HW horseshoe that floats above the barrel lid.
The mural will be installed at High West's new production facility in Wanship, Utah. Designed by Daniel Salmon of Material Resourcers and constructed Bryce Hart of Innovative Metal Works, this piece celebrates the exclusive partnership Material Resourcers enjoys with High West Distillery. MR reclaims all of High West's spent whiskey barrels - vessels that are no longer liquid-tight - and creates or markets alternative uses for this great material. This logo is both an example of how whiskey barrels can be repurposed and High West's commitment to environmental stewardship.
The piece was revealed to the production crew at High West's bottling warehouse in Salt Lake City. In attendance was David Perkins - founder of High West Distillery. When the cover was removed, the assembled crew erupted with applause and shouts. The piece took artist Bryce Hart a few days to piece together and is the first reclaimed materials logo for High West.
We are excited to enhance our relationship with High West and support their growth. Business partnerships like this one exemplify how Material Resourcers helps companies pursue sustainability by reducing disposal and storage headaches for their unwanted and byproduct materials. Whether its excess, blemished, expired, overstock, byproduct, remnant, or spent materials, Material Resourcers provides responsible industrial & manufacturing waste solutions that create a triple-bottom line for businesses.
