55 Gallon HDPE Drums

55-gallon drums serve an important role in commercial shipping and manufacturing. Ours were used to transport and store cooking ingredients such as mineral oil, vinegar, molasses, and flavoring, or fine spirits including whiskey and bourbon, and some held commercial baking equipment cleanser. Now emptied, it may seem as though their job is done, but with the magic of repurposing, they can live on! Cut them into pig, cow, horse and other livestock feeders or troughs. Use them to float a small boat, raft or bridge. Upcycle them into sustainable living components like rainwater storage for plants, gardens or outdoor showers, or build composters. Make a cabinet, shelf or bike rack. Cut off the top and use them for trash, hauling or even storage. Build fun and unique patio furniture like a table or chair. Construct makeshift pet shelters. The uses are endless! 

• Heavy-duty, HDPE plastic drums. 
• All drums have 2 bungholes/ports, one fine-pitch-thread, and one coarse-pitch-thread.
• Solid Top Type: does not feature a fully-removable lid; most are missing at least one bung/plug (replacement bungs/caps are available for $4 each); white or blue.
• Removable Top Type: features a fully-removable lid with clamp; blue only.
• Food Grade: Held ingredients that are safe for humans and animals to ingest. Suitable for potable water storage.
• Chemical Grade: Held materials that are unsafe for humans and animals to ingest. Not suitable for potable water storage.
  
• Approximately 36" H x 23" W.
  
• May be cut with standard cutting tools (we do not provide cutting services).
• Emptied & unrinsed; rinsing with water recommended (dish soap may help). 
  
• White usually available; blue available infrequently (call to check inventory).
